What are crowding problems?
Crowding problems are caused by an overabundance of baby teeth and/or wisdom teeth that make it so there is more than enough room for permanent teeth in the mouth. If braces are not used, the bone below the teeth will eventually fuse together, making it impossible to wear a bridge or removable partial brace. This can make eating and talking difficult. In addition, an overabundance of teeth can cause crowded cheeks and jowls, which is why cosmetic dentistry may be recommended in severe cases.
Are Invisalign bite resolution trays comfortable?
We have designed our Invisalign Trays to take up less space than standard trays. They are designed to be comfortable to wear for at least 18 months, but some patients find that their bite doesn’t improve enough until they are wearing them for more than 2 years.
Are Invisalign clear aligners covered by insurance?
Invisalign is not typically covered by dental insurance plans. However, we have worked with many dental insurance plans to help our patients secure partial or full reimbursement for the cost of Invisalign treatment. We will work with your insurance company to get you the most coverage possible. Many patients are pleasantly surprised to find that they can actually save money by wearing their trays at night and on weekends instead of full-time!
