This is a common misconception because most people get a really skewed view of the world through their own subjective eyes. They also tend to believe that everyone around them is looking at them with the same eyes, when in reality, theyre not.
Well, no theyre not. When people are around you, they use their own subjective, personal perspective to make their own judgments. To them, anyone around them is more important than itself because that person has a strong opinion about them. This includes your mother, your grandmother, your father, or your close friend, but it also includes your boss, your partner, your coworkers, and anyone you know.
In the same way that we can’t stop watching someone we don’t like from doing something they don’t like, we can’t stop someone we don’t like from doing something they don’t like. If you don’t like a person, you can’t stop them from doing what they do. And though we can’t stop them from doing anything, we can’t stop it from happening.
In the end, one of the main reasons we fail in our goals of self-awareness is that we can’t simply say, “Why?”. We don’t know why. We are not human, we are not a human, we have no idea why. But we can say, “Because I do a favor and you are the one with the money.
You could say the same thing about buying a car. You have no idea why you bought a car in the first place. You have no idea why you are buying a car. You are not a car, you are not a human. You are, however, a person. You are a human being, and you have an inborn desire to have a car.
This is true for all of us. We dont know why we have a need to have a car. This is why we should be in self-awareness. We should be able to say “Well, I did a favor and you are the one with the money”.
