The article on mikus is an interesting one, and while we don’t know for sure that meditation is good for you, we do know for sure that there are many different kinds of meditation. As such, we would not disagree about the idea that meditation is not for everyone. It is for those who have had trouble with any of the various forms of meditation.
We have not tried meditation ourselves, but many people recommend it. We agree that it can be helpful in helping you to focus and reduce tension, but we think it is not necessarily useful for everyone. Meditation is not something that you should try at your own risk. It is a practice you should strive to learn.
Not everyone can or should go to a doctor’s office to learn the art of meditation. Many people just want to know what they need to do to relax and be better people. By that measure, there is no greater stress than finding out you cannot relax and be a better person.
Meditation can be a great stress-buster. It can help you to relax and focus. But it is not a long-term solution to everything going on in your life. Sometimes a little meditation can feel like giving up on your goals and dreams. If you can’t relax, and you can’t focus, then it doesn’t matter what you do.
