The internal recruitment of a service person is not a case of the person recruiting their own self-awareness. In other words, if you have an employee who doesn’t know how to self-identify, they aren’t recruiting their own internal self-awareness.

You can hire someone with no self-awareness, but the self-awareness will come from the person you hired to recruit.

Internal recruitment doesn’t mean a person is unaware of what they are doing, or that they do not have self-awareness. In fact, the hiring company knows the hiring company is the person they are recruiting. They can also recruit the self-awareness of the client.

If a hiring company hires you to recruit a person with no self-awareness, you are recruiting a person with no self-awareness. Which is why internal recruitment is not a good way to recruit people with self-awareness.

In my experience, internal recruitment is used by business recruiters to recruit people with self-awareness. The idea is that they want to recruit people who will be aware of their own biases. At most it can cause a person to be more wary, which is good and bad. Just because a recruiter knows he has to use internal recruitment doesnt mean he gets to decide on the basis of who is the best person for the job.
