This is a question that comes up in almost every discussion and debate on this issue. There are no easy answers so I was curious to hear what people thought.
The most common answer is that micro-environments are those tiny places that make your life more interesting. However, micro-environments are also all the myriad little things that make a micro-system more interesting. Think of the way a tree looks when you chop it down, or the way a person’s face looks when he laughs. These are the micro-environments that make your life more interesting.
My own favorite example is of course your bathroom. No one in their right mind would think of cleaning your bathroom with a sponge and some hot water. But if you let a soap suds from a shower go on your skin, it seeps into the pores and your skin looks and feels like a sponge. This is the kind of micro-environments that make your bathroom more interesting.
Micro-environments of any type are everywhere in our lives. We’re constantly surrounded by them, but we don’t necessarily even notice them. For example, we don’t notice that water is everywhere. If something is dripping down a pipe in a home, we don’t even consider it. The same is true for your bathroom.
There are two main types of micro-environments: indoor and outdoor. In an indoor micro-environment, you are surrounded by things, but because you are not directly touching them, you are not experiencing them. In an outdoor micro-environment, you are directly touching things, and because you are not directly touching them, you are experiencing them.
Water, air, and dust are all examples of micro-environments. However, if you are in an indoor micro-environment, you are not directly touching the surface of the water. In an outdoor micro-environment, you are directly touching the surface of the water, and because you are not directly touching the water, you are experiencing it.
A micro-environment is a place where you are directly touching something. In an outdoor micro-environment, you are directly touching the surface of the water. In an indoor micro-environment, you are not directly touching the surface of the water.
An indoor micro-environment is one where you are not directly touching the surface of the water. In an outdoor micro-environment, you are directly touching the surface of the water. In an indoor micro-environment, you are not directly touching the surface of the water.
