Self esteem is how much you like yourself. Self concept refers to the person feeling like he is the best. So if you’re not feeling good about yourself, and you want to change that, you can begin by changing that you feeling about yourself. Self esteem and self concept are related, but they don’t mean the same thing.

This is because their self-esteem is tied to how they think about themselves. And this ties into how we think about ourselves. That is, if our self-esteem is tied to how we think about ourselves, then our self-concept is tied to how we think about ourselves and vice versa.
